Born as an imperial prince, Vilgard is forced into exile after a coup staged by his own brother. Fleeing to a neighboring kingdom, Vil—now a warrior—builds a new life. His days grow fulfilling, and he falls in love with his childhood friend Kiyoka. But the empire, hungry for expansion, invades his new home, stripping him of everything once again. Plunged into the depths of despair, Vil finds himself surrounded by the mightiest clan, drawn to him by an ancient pact. Determined to overthrow his brother, Vil rises up, taking powerful and beautiful women from across the land as his wives to bolster his forces.
