Ranobe Kojiki: Nippon no Kamisama to Hajimari no Monogatari

The Kojiki is the oldest historical book in Japan. It consists of three volumes, with the first volume containing Japanese myths and the second and third volumes containing the accounts of Japan's earliest emperors. This book is a modern translation of the story of the first volume, "Mythology of Japan," in the style of a light novel. The author has lovingly adapted the Kojiki into modern form. By the time you finish reading it, you will love Japan more than ever. (Source: Kadokawa, translated)
