SINOPSISEN
Even so, the man tried to remain kind. Kanichirou Yanagi, a 19 year old judo athelte, heads to Tokyo with his father’s dying wish: “Defeat the Kodokan Judo doujo” etched in his heart. The streets of Meiji-era Tokyo, reeling from the wave of modernization and western influences. The wanderings of youth. Injustice and absurdity, contradictions and desire, who can truly understand what lies in a man’s heart?
