Grimm Connect: Akazugin no Shou

Purify the fairy-tale world consumed by madness. Mahiru Mikado, a boy whose sister is afflicted with an incurable illness, discovers a bright red book in the juvenile detention center’s library. Out of curiosity, he opens it only to find a tale of tragedy completely unlike the Little Red Riding Hood he knows so well. Stunned, Mahiru finds himself standing before a mysterious girl in a pure white space. “Well then, shall we begin? This is, without a doubt, your story.” And so begins the twisted cycle of madness. A deranged fairy tale where failure means death, and the cycle repeats endlessly. No clear conditions for victory, maximum difficulty, and no allies. What lies at the end of this story? “Go on, then. I’m rooting for you. Go die.” (Source: BookBase, translated)
