Don Vulcan: Seinaru Otoko no Densetsu

Kentaro Todoroki, who had joined the Eagles, a team that had been at the bottom of the standings for years, was about to take the mound for the first time as a reliever. With everyone watching, the first pitch he threw was a slow changeup. Seta of the Giants, who had missed the pitch, immediately tried to return to the bench, so Todoroki, as a form of protest, threw a high, arcing throw, one that might have allowed Seta to reach base safely if he’d run. In contrast, he then threw a dazzling fastball to the next batter, Gulliver, and became the talk of the town overnight. (Source: Shueisha, translated)
